A report from The Verge on Monday said that Sonos will release two new speakers at the end of March. The report included what seem to be marketing images of the speakers that were leaked.
The Name of the New Sonos Speakers
The new Sonos speakers will be called the Era 300 and Era 100, according to reports. The Era 300’s marketing materials show that the speaker will cost around $450 and that it will use spatial audio and Dolby Atmos, according to reports from The Verge. The new speakers will reportedly have Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth 5.0, and support for AirPlay 2.
Prices and Availability of the New Sonos Speakers
Less is known about the Era 100 at the moment, but it could replace the Sonos One smart speaker. According to reports, the Era 100 will be priced closer to the $219 One Speaker.
Sonos’ Reaction to the News
When asked for a comment, the speaker-making company Sonos said that it does not comment on rumours and guesses. I guess we will have to wait until late March to find out if Sonos will show off two new speakers.
